Die Episode beginnt damit, dass [[Team Rocket (Anime)|Team Rocket]] im Nebel durch einen Wald geht. Dieser löst sich auf und sie entscheiden sich in die andere Richtung zu gehen. Sie sehen, dass sie sich in einer Moorlandschaft befinden. Dann erscheinen drei [[Team Plasma]]-Mitglieder, von denen einer Brad ist. Diese suchen noch immer nach [[N]].
 
Währenddessen befinden sich auch [[Ash]] und seine Freunde im Wald und schauen zu, wie N in dem Wasserbecken schläft und von den [[Musen]] und ihre [[Morbitesse]] und [[Guardevoir]] bewacht. Ash ist ebsorgt und will verstehen, was vor sich geht, doch Guardevoir will, dass er das Wasser nicht betritt. Dann sehen die Freunde, dass N geheilt wird. Er wacht auf und dankt den Mädchen, die er Athena und Concordia nennt. Die Kinder erkennen verwirrt, dasssie sich kennen. Die Frauen fordern sie auf die Gegend zu verlassen und Morbitesse droht ihnen sie mit [[Psychokinese]] zu vertreiben. N verteidigt sie jedoch und betont, dass Ash und seine Mitstreiter einer enge Bindung zu ihren Pokémon hätten und gute Menschen seien. Anthea und Concordia sind erfreut dies zu hören. Die Freunde erfahren, dass sie die selbe Fähigkeit wie N haben und die innere Stimme der Pokémon hören können. N erklärt, dass sie seine Kameraden seien und berichtet von einem Versteck im Wald, in denen sich verletzte Pokémon kümmern.
 
N bringt sie zum Versteck, welches ein altes, heruntergekommenes Haus ist. Ash scannt Guardevoir, doch dieses spürt den Vorgang und schaut ihn durchdringend an. Die Kinder sehen dann ein [[Dusselgurr]], welches N freundlich begrüßt, doch als Lilia es streicheln will, schlägt es sie und rennt davon. N erklärt, dass alle Pokémon dort von Menschen verletzt wurden und deshalb kein Vertrauen zu ihnen haben. Er führt sie dann in einen Raum, indem die Musen mit einem [[Ohrdoch]] die Pokémon behandeln. Ash und seine Freunde wollen nun wissen, wieso er die Pokémon retten und vor Team Plasma beschützen will.

The group realize that the two had a same inner voice as N does. N tells them that Anthea and Concordia are his companions. N tells them that their hideout is in a forest where injured Pokémon live.
N takes them to a house and tells them that it's his hideout and where he lives for the time being. Ash scans the Gardevoir, but it's sensing that Ash scanning it and gives him a sharp look. The group meets a Pidove who's friendly to N and Iris tries to touch it, but Pidove smacks her and runs off. N tells them that all of Pokémon got injured by people and are emotionally scarred with zero trust in humans. N shows them the inside of a room where Anthea, Concordia, and an Audino are treating injured Pokémon. Ash and his friends wanted to know why N wants to rescue and protect all of Pokémon under the control of Team Plasma.
N explains that in his past he once lived in a large mansion. He lived all alone and always stayed inside until Anthea and Concordia came in with some Pokemon and played with him. He also tells the group that he couldn't stand the sight of battling and injuries Pokémon got from them. Ghetsis had told him that Team Plasma's dream was to free Pokémon from abusive people. He used N to call the legendary Pokémon Reshiram to Team Plasma's hideout but it got angry and destroyed the hideout. N was found alone and injured by Anthea and Concordia. Anthea and Concordia also explains about how Ghetsis's purpose was a lie and has different plans but were unable to learn the truth yet. Anthea and Concordia realize Ghetsis was partially telling the truth and decided to protect Pokémon and not be allowed to be lived with humans. Ash and friends tried to convince them that not all humans are bad but got told they had to leave the next day.

Back at N's hideout, Ash and friends are upset that N's companions won't believe them and they decide to try again. Meanwhile, some of the hurt Pokémon come out of hiding. Axew, Pikachu, and Oshawott invite them to play. Ash and friends play with the Pokémon as Anthea and Concordia watch from a window. Soon after, Team Plasma find the hideout and continue to pursue N. Anthea and Concordia blames Ash and his friends for revealing their hidden forest but Ash says that he would never tell their location in a million years. Ash and friends protect N, Anthea, and Corcordia as the threesome flee into the fog. N calls out to Ash and friends who find them. Anthea and Corcordia leave with N to find a new place to take refuge as Ash and friends were left behind in the fog. After the fog clears, Ash and friends are surprised to see the forest gone too. They soon turn to continue their journey.-->

Währenddessen kommen einige der Pokémon aus dem Versteck. Milza, Pikachu und [[Ashs Ottaro]], welches aus seinem Ball gekommen ist, wollen mit ihnen spielen und auch die Kinder machen mit, was die Musen durch das Fenster beobachten. Bald finden die Plasma-Mitglieder das Versteckt mit Hilfe von Messgeräten und können ein Portal öffnen. Nun suchen sie N. Anthea und Concordia beschuldigen die Kinder ihren Wald den Feinden offenbart zu haben als diese auftauchen, doch Ash schwört, dass er so etwas niemals tun würde. Ash und die Anderen wollen die Drei beschützen und kämpfen mit Ottaro, [[Ashs Ferkokel|Ferkokel]], [[Lilias Stalobor|Stalobor]] und [[Bennys Vegimak|Vegimak]] gegen die feindlichen [[Magnezone]], [[Sleimok]] und [[Kleoparda]], während N und die Frauen fliehen. Als Ferkokel besiegt ist, kommt Nebel auf und N ruft die Kinder zu sich. So können sie entkommen, während Team Rocket die Plasmamitglieder beobachtet. Später verschwinden sie, um ein neues Versteck zu suchen. Der Nebel löst sich auf und Ash, Benny und Lilia erkennen erstaunt, dass der Wald ebenfalls verschwunden ist. Sie reisen weiter in Richtung [[Drachenstiege]], die vor ihnen auftaucht, womit die Episode endet.
