Herkunft des DE-Namen passt nicht:
Piepi = Pixie (x→p)
Pixie mit x->p ergibt Pipie!=Piepi. Dazu wurde entweder noch das "e" verschoben oder "i" mit "ie" vertauscht oder es ist noch irgendwie anders... --WayneBernd 20:31, 20. Mär. 2011 (CET)

Es ist eine Mischung aus piepen und pixie. Ich hab mal versucht, das in der Herkunft darzustellen, glaube aber, dass das besser geht (und hab grad keine Idee, wie). -- Beamish Wishes, 20:49, 20. Mär. 2011 (CET)

Anime

Woher kommt die Info, dass Piepi der Starter von Ash werden sollte? Das es das Pokémon von Isamu Akai ist, der im Anime kurz auf der Leinwand zu sehen ist (soweit ich weiß), ist klar, aber das davon abzuleiten wäre, dass es Ashs Starter werden sollte, denke ich nicht. - - " Herzlich Willkommen in uns‘rer schönen, neuen Welt... Clefairy was originally going to be the official mascot of Pokémon, but Pikachu was used instead due to the popularity of the anime and Pikachu's familiarity with fans. In the original pilot episode of the anime, Clefairy was intended to be Ash's starting Pokémon. Due to a last minute change, the role went to Pikachu. This would have made the anime closer to the Pokémon Pocket Monsters manga, which would later be referenced in Lights, Camerupt, Action!, where its main character, Isamu Akai, along with his Clefairy and Pikachu appeared in a film that Ash and his friends were watching. --Altruis _{Boah, Hey!'} 20:44, 3.
